Dr. Yanzhu Liu is a highly respected expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with over 35 years of clinical experience. He is a professor and PhD supervisor at Shandong University of TCM and formerly an associate research scientist at Columbia University. Holding an MD/PhD from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, China’s top medical institution, Dr. Liu has made significant contributions to both clinical practice and biomedical research.

With over 13 years of research in atherosclerosis, he completed postdoctoral training at Tsinghua University and conducted studies at Columbia University on hyperlipidemia and arterial disease. Dr. Liu holds multiple patents, including one for an atherosclerosis treatment and four for AI-driven medical devices. His innovative AI acupoint detection technology has significantly improved treatments for chronic pain, arthritis, sports injuries, stroke-related conditions, cancer-related symptoms, and eye disorders.

As the chief editor of Internal Medicine – Chinese Medicine and a contributor to five medical books, Dr. Liu continues to pioneer integrative medicine. Dr. Chen graduated from Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2005. He is a NYS licensed acupuncturist and holds an NCCAOM Acupuncture Diploma. Specializing in pain management, Dr. Chen is also experienced in treating internal medicine conditions such as insomnia, infertility, hormonal disorders, digestive diseases, and allergies.

Song Yan graduated from Henan Medical College in 1988 and worked as an ophthalmologist for 25 years. After immigrating to the U.S. in 2013, she pursued dual master’s degrees in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine at the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine. With nearly a decade of experience in acupuncture and six years at ACA Acupuncture Clinic, Song specializes in abdominal acupuncture, floating needle therapy, and herbal medicine. Her gentle, patient-centered approach has earned her widespread trust.

Yu Zhou began her journey in Chinese medicine and acupuncture after experiencing transformative healing herself a decade ago in China. After moving to the US and graduating from PCHS in New York, she continued her studies under Dr. Liu Yanzhu, the founder of ACA and a specialist in abdominal acupuncture. Her holistic approach is rooted in empathy, clinical skill, and a deep belief in the body’s ability to heal.

She also provides effective treatments for a wide range of conditions, including mental-emotional support (stress and anxiety), fertility and reproductive support (hormonal imbalances, menopause, egg freezing, IUI, IVF, induced labor), insomnia, and more.

Rong Lu earned her master’s degree from Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine through a prestigious seven-year bachelor-master program in the combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Clinical Medicine. She is a medical doctor in China.

Her expertise lies in infertility treatments, including support for IUI and IVF, as well as addressing PMS, menopause syndrome, PCOS, abnormal uterine bleeding, hormone imbalances, and painful periods. Rong also has extensive experience in treating neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, allergies, sinus issues, and gastrointestinal disorders. She is dedicated to providing holistic care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Baojia graduated from Xinjiang Medical University in 1984. Earned her New York State Acupuncture license in 2002. She’s been working at New York Blood Center since 1992 as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. She also worked in the acupuncture clinic for 17 years. She is an experienced acupuncturist in pain management, internal medicine, women’s health, and allergies.

Ella was born and raised in Northern China, where her family practiced traditional Chinese medicine. After moving to New York City, she continued her studies in acupuncture and earned a master’s degree from NYCTCM.

Ella is licensed to practice acupuncture in NYS and board certified with NCCAOM. With a focus on scalp acupuncture, Ella is an expert in treating stress, depression, emotional issues, and hormone balancing. She has also studied abdominal acupuncture with Dr. Liu, the founder of ACA, and specializes in treating women’s health issues such as dysmenorrhea, menstrual disorders, infertility, and assisting with IVF. 

In addition to these specialties, Ella offers assistance in weight loss, men’s health and pain management for sports injuries and muscle strain. Her dedication to her craft is evident in the exceptional care she provides to her patients.
